Our community investment funding is made possible by the profit generated from banking services provided at our branch.

Community Investment Funding

Our current programs are divided into 2 categories 

Community Investment Express up to $1,000. This program is for new uniforms and equipment to support your club activities and is capped at $1,000 in total. 

Community Investment up to $3,000. This program is to support projects, programs or events that your group may be offering to support your members or the broader community.

Community Investment rounds are as follows:

Round 1 - opens 1^st August 2025 and closes on 1^st September 2025. 

Round 2 – opens 1^st December 2025 and closes on 31^st December 2025. 

Round 3 – opens 1^st April 2026 and closes on 1^st May 2026. 

Please note: Notifications of application outcome will be issued approximately one month after the grant round closes, with payment being within 8 weeks of round closure. 

Please note generally, Community Bank Geraldton is unlikely to approve an application if:

1. The group you are applying on behalf of has already received funding from Community bank Geraldton in the last 12 months;
2. You apply for funding as, or on behalf of, an individual person;
3. You don’t hold a current ABN in the same group/organisation name as the application
4. You do not already have a bank account, or list your intention to open a bank account with the Community Bank Geraldton
5. You have failed to supply acquittal details or to comply with previous funding conditions set by Community Bank Geraldton
6. If your overall requirement of funds falls into a different allocated round
